About Us
J Dance Collective, co-owned by Jade Murray and Jordyn Shumate,
was founded on a shared passion for dance, a love for teaching, and a vision of creating a place where every student can thrive.
As former competitive dancers, we know firsthand the confidence, discipline, and leadership skills that dance can inspire. Our experiences as students shaped who we are, and our years of teaching and leading dance programs together have shaped the kind of studio we wanted to build.
Formerly ABC Studio & Activity Center, our studio continues serving families in Bluffton, Indiana.
J Dance Collective is the result of that shared vision
—a community where students are encouraged to work hard, support one another, and celebrate every milestone.
We believe that meaningful progress happens when students feel both challenged and supported, and we strive to create an environment where every dancer and tumbler can grow at their own pace.
Whether a student joins us for one class each week or becomes part of our competitive team, our goal is the same: to provide an experience that helps them develop skills, build lasting friendships, and discover confidence that extends far beyond the studio.
